Case Study: Backflip Studios — DragonVale
The Objective
DragonVale is a park-simulator mobile game developed by Backflip Studios. Through new creatives, some of their main goals were to drive user acquisition, increase user LTV, and build content to support sustainable performance marketing game strategies.
The Solution
Craftsman+ developed video and playable ads for the title through an engaging concept that got users highly involved in the gameplay. The ad was specifically designed to attract high LTV users through the use of tutorial and gameplay simulation, familiarizing the user with the game’s core functionalities before download.
The Results
DragonVale saw an astounding 500% increase in CTR vs. other creatives, 39% higher CVR vs. other creatives, and 111% increase in IPM on Android (43% increase on iOS).
